The mystery in life

I recently had a one on one personal development session with one of my clients and it was amazing how much this individual focused on all that was wrong in their life, deeming themselves a failure.  I could see how this person could drive him/herself to a point of depression.

We did a personal mapping of their past and it was just amazing how much they had accomplished and managed to learn throughout their life, but because it did not look like what they wanted it to look like,
they missed the amazing mystery in life.
That our past plays a significant role in mapping our future.

So today, take a breather, have a look at your life - are you where you want to be? If not, do not condemn yourself as that will not help you accomplish anything.  Look at where you come from, look at all the lessons that you have learned.  Lessons about yourself, your surroundings, your family, your talents, your purpose.  Take those lessons and map out where you are going.  Reflect on all the unplanned achievements and the surprising glories and use those as an encouragement to soldier on.  Life is to be enjoyed.  It is an adventure so do not be too hard on yourself.  Embrace the lessons and continue the discovery.
